The 2026 Yilan Green Expo invites everyone to step onto the dream stage and experience the moving performance by the Toucheng Junior High School Chinese Orchestra.

The Litoucheng Junior High School Chinese Orchestra in Yilan County is a distinctive arts club within the school. For many years, it has not only been deeply engaged in the performance of traditional Chinese music, but also dedicated itself to the promotion and inheritance of the local culture of "Beiguan music," allowing traditional music to continue to shine in the hands of the new generation.
The Toucheng Junior High School Chinese Orchestra has shown remarkable performance in recent years. In 2019, it was invited to perform in Tokyo and Kawasaki, Japan, showcasing the cultural heritage and stage presence of Yilan students through music. It also participates in the Yilan County Government's arts and crafts inheritance project, combining traditional Chinese music with traditional opera such as Taiwanese opera to continue to cultivate and promote these arts.
Toucheng Junior High School Chinese Orchestra has also achieved remarkable results in various music competitions:
In the 2014-2015 academic year, the student won the Excellence Award in the "Silk and Bamboo Chamber Ensemble Junior High School Group B" category of the Yilan County Student Music Competition.
In the 2020-2020 academic year, the student won the Excellence Award in the Junior High School Group B category of the Yilan County Student Music Competition for Chamber Music and String Instruments.
Historical achievements include winning first place nationwide in the Beiguan music junior high school group at the National Student Music Competition.
This is not just a performance, but a live demonstration of how a group of children, with their passion and hard work, are taking over and passing on traditional culture bit by bit.
